The Reputation Institute (RI) is a private research organization founded by Charles Fombrun, Professor Emeritus at the Stern School of Business, New York University, and Cees van Riel, Professor of Business & Society at Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University. The RI's mission and core purpose are to advance knowledge about corporate reputations, their management, measurement and valuation. The RI brings together a global network of academic institutions and leading edge practitioners interested in advancing knowledge about corporate reputations.

In 2006 we will start to build up network groups concerning a general interest in Reputation Management as well as special interests in industry-specific adjustments of measuring and management concepts.
Among the first special groups we will establish a network concerning Reputation Management in the Banking Sector.
