This year's IMTC meeting was once again an outstanding opportunity to intensify the dialogue between scientists and practitioners and, in particular, to do something to promote young researchers based on our PhD Award program, led by Prof. Cleopatra Veloutsou. Additional highlights were our research workshops with Profs Christian Ringle and Marko Sarstedt to deepen knowledge in the field of PLS-SEM analysis as well as with Prof. Carsten Baumgarth and Dr. Steffen Schmidt to convey the latest state of the use of AI tools in the context of marketing research in science and practice. The concrete practical examples from the work of Steffen Schmidt and his company, concept m AI, elicited a great deal of fascinated astonishment.
At the end, IMTC President Prof. Francoise Chonchon-Andreani and the conference chairs Profs. Lorena Blasco-Arcas, Alberto Pastore, Julio Jiménez, Julien Schmitt, Cleopatra Veloutsou, and Klaus-Peter Wiedmann were very happy with the course of the event, and are already looking forward to the next IMTC, in Venice 2027.
