As one of the conference chairs, Prof. Wiedmann was heavily involved in various events at the IMTC, Venice 2024. The highlight was undoubtedly the implementation of the Marketing Trends Radar workshop. With input from Prof. Cleopatra Veloutsou, the “Queen of Brands”, and Dr. Steffen Schmidt, one of the few real AI masters, he received excellent support. Numerous international colleagues were enthusiastic about the idea of establishing an IMTC Agora and now want to participate in the development of an international marketing trends radar system.
Prof. Walsh was also supposed to be in Venice as one of the track chairs, but he had to raise the M2 flag at another important marketing conference in Portugal.
